Audio Pro now launches A40 – a top class multiroom speaker which, in spite of its compact design, delivers a definite full-bodied sound, from the lowest bass to the highest highs. In order to achieve this amount of high quality sound from such a compact speaker, state-of-the-art audio technology has been used in combination with premium materials and components. A40 is equipped with two exclusive BMR-elements handling the treble and midrange, while two downward facing long throw woofers, combined with dual passive radiators on the sides, take care of the bass.
The objective with A40 was to create a speaker that is compact and stylistically pure enough to be placed fully visible on a table or a windowsill, while it should deliver a sound of absolute top class and be able to fill even bigger rooms. A40 is designed with an austere aluminium frame that is not only decorative but also serves as a convenient control panel. On the top of the frame the buttons for adjusting volume et cetera are found, as well as five preset buttons that are easily configured to play a radio channel or a playlist on Spotify, for example. The speaker utilises fabric on the front, back and sides, and two sets are included – in different shades of grey.
A40 can be a part of a multiroom system via a WiFi-network and is also equipped with Bluetooth in order to be able to be used in environments where there is no wireless network available (for example in a summer house). There is also the option to connect with a cable to the AUX-input. A40 can be controlled with a smartphone or tablet (iOS/Android) via Audio Pro’s app, where one can even control it with the voice via Amazon Alexa.
